"The staff have a close relationship with the people who live in the home, any having lived there for several years. They treat the individuals they care for with respect and receive the same respect back. There was a very comfortable homely feel in the way the home appeared, and the way it was run. The people who live their exercised their independence freely, with the support of the staff who as a result of risk assessments, and a good knowledge of the individuals, provided a level of support that was welcomed and did not take away their dignity. "
